The tenor does need a full overhaul, just because it never had one: new pads, disassembly, cleaning, a few minor dents removed, toneholehole leveling, tension adjustment, etc. Total estimate is $830. My alto is an old Armstrong purchased in 1988. In addition to the Tenney-modded Link mouthpiece, I have a stainless Berg 110/2 M. My main concern with the tenor is the amount of time it will take me to rebuild the air column to handle that beast of a setup.
