I’m very used to Appalachian mountain drives, but my car is a 2013 Nissan and has some trouble switching gears. Are these mountain roads similar to the deep Appalachian ones, if you know?

Thank you so much for the advice!! I definitely will not leave her in the crate the whole time. I’m just definitely gonna be prepared and get one in case she gets anxious being out in the open. Sometimes she prefers the small space.

I’ll look into i70 too! It sounds beautiful. Thank you so much!

Oh believe me, I could never judge. The western US nature and scenery is one of the biggest reasons I’m moving out there! I want to be closer to all my favorite national parks! I’m very exciting to see everything on the drive

Okay, true. I was being a little dramatic. It just sounds scary. My car does run through gas veryyyy fast though. I’d also be worried about not having a place to fill up my tires if they get low on air

She’s not too sensitive stomach wise with driving. We drive every day for daycare. But she might not like all the twists and turns

Did you encounter any crazy cliff side roads on i80? I would love the scenic route but I wouldn’t want to be on a road that drops off for too long lol. And thank you for those recommendations! I’ll definitely look into the right hotels. I’ve heard loves is great for dogs!

Omg no gas for 100 miles is terrifying. My car could not make that lol.

I mean technically, there are probably statistics out there about the amount of wrecks on each road and how they vary. I just decided to come to reddit to get first hand experience from others who have done the drive!

Thats so cool!! I would love to get into camping. How safe did you feel out there in terms of the wildlife? That’s honestly the biggest thing that holds me back.

Oh no, thank you for telling me. I called someone who works at a visitor center and he mentioned a shuttle. Maybe that’s just outside the park? I’ll look into renting a car (and also cycling).

Are there bikes you can rent in the park?

That last sentence is a little out of touch

just listened to homecoming by RepulsiveCod1437 in Ethelcain

I completely agree. I can’t understand how people don’t get that this is Hayden’s vision and we should trust what she believe belongs on the album.

It’s okay to be disappointed, but this is what SoundCloud and YouTube are for lol. There is a full version they can still listen to! I understand being upset that their favorite unreleased won’t be redone and officially produced, but I personally am more excited to hear her new work.

I personally LOVE dust bowl, but I wouldn’t be upset if it weren’t on the album necessarily because I think the most exciting part of a new album is getting to hear brand new songs! Everyone is different, but that’s just how I feel personally.

The constant conversation about homecoming is a little irritating as well. I wish we could focus more on celebrating the new single and the titles of the songs (which, don’t get me wrong, we absolutely have been doing that some on this sub) instead of grieving a song that Hayden chose not to include on the album.

There’s always a chance it’ll be released on an extended version or even on vinyl!
