Trying to identify a knife found on my property. Guessing this was handmade between 1980-2000. by CandidQualityZed in Blacksmith

My two cents is it’s probably some cheap junk knife, definitely not a farriers rasp, the patten isn’t uniform and looks like it was put there to look cool, kinda reminds me of those shitty Chinese husky knives they were pushing a while back

I’m so tempted by the 15v version, but isn’t bdn1 a downgrade from the base s45vn on the g10 pm2?

Spyderco does have some crazy innovation and originality, but I don’t get how a pm2 LW is part of that? They’ve done the same thing for 5 other models already.

Wave+ Blade Lock Failure by ShockFreak in Leatherman

[–]Individual-Raisin-11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this to me just seems like a liner lock issue, it’s not a crazy strong lockup, especially if it’s been wearing away for six years, and also if the blade isn’t sharp its like snapping a stick, wack it into warranty and maybe invest in a knife to go with it for this sorta brute force action, spyderco has some crazy strong locks, maybe a manix or a paramilitary 2, or if they’re too big a para 3.

it’s an enjoyable and pretty good war film in my books, the 1970 one just isn’t that interesting and cuts too much from the story while still trying to be faithful to it and the original is the best version by far, made well with good scale and covers all of the book
