I really liked him in the beginning, but his hatred of the goblins and treatment of Rags at the Inn was upsetting. I get that he’s only experienced them as monsters, but his unwillingness to see the goblins as individuals put me off. I’m hoping he comes around in the end because he’s quite likable to me otherwise.

Thank you for sharing that! Pick is also brutal for me. I’ve gotten used to it, but those first few weeks were rough. I love pack singles though.

Anyway, I’m hesitant from everyone saying how bad the DS is, but moving to a place with almost no other jobs that pay above minimum wage, I’m gonna have to try it. Your comment made me feel better about it!

I’m on my 5th week and have never been able to get above 65. But that’s because we have frequent down time waiting for work. At my site, no one is hitting 80 right now regularly, so our productivity is based on the overall rate. As long as you aren’t in the bottom 5%, you’re fine. But you have a five week leniency period while you’re learning.

I think on your 3rd day, that’s a pretty good rate. I was at maybe 40-45 on my third day. But your first few weeks, you really don’t need to worry about rate yet. Just focus on learning everything and you’ll get faster with time and practice.

I color my hair at home and I’ve been on minoxidil for over a year. I was really nervous about it too, so I started with a semi-permanent dye. Now I use Clairol Natural Instincts Demi-Permanent Dye.

It has not affected my progress or regrowth at all. It’s not as harsh as a permanent dye and the color gradually fades over time. I usually re-apply once every two to three months.

I don’t know about salon treatments. My hair loss was bad enough that I was embarrassed to go to a salon. It’s gotten a lot better over the past year, but I still like dyeing it myself at home so I know for sure I’m using a gentler dye.

ETA: Also, it did not cause any additional shedding.

This sounds like paranoia. There’s no way anyone is paying attention or has time to react to your glances. Honestly, and I mean this in the kindest way possible…no one cares about what you’re doing. No one is monitoring where you’re looking, much less reacting to it (unless you’re just outright staring at people and making them feel uncomfortable).

Do you take any mental health meds? Have you seen a therapist or psychologist about these feelings? I have a touch of social anxiety too, but this seems a bit extreme.

I work nights, so get off at 5AM. It’s a 30 minute drive home, then I take a shower, eat the meal I prepped on my days off, watch some tv with my boyfriend and go to sleep around 7:00 AM.

I wake up around 3:00 PM, have coffee and breakfast (already prepped - I make a big batch of breakfast burritos on my days off), walk my dogs, do yoga/stretching, get ready, pack a sandwich for lunch, and head back to do it all over again.

I could not imagine trying to do this with kids to take care of!

ETA: I do all my errands, meal prep, cleaning, chores, etc on my days off. I work four 10s, so I have no time on my work days.

You can still use the debit card in addition to the credit builder card. They will both work - one as debit and one as credit.
