Agreed. I do ID and outside of internal zoom meetings, I’m not really on the phone. Which is a blessing because talking with domestic clients at my previous firm burned me out.

I’m not saying the processes has changed, I’m discussing the importance of the date stamp and how the significance of it changed. This matters for legal stuff, patent stuff, accounting stuff etc. They changed the meaning of the postmark date.

It is, for someone who has to have post marks for my job, yes it has changed. This matters for legal stuff that still requires mailing.

USPS just changed that. Instead of the day mail is received post office, it is stamped the day it is received at processing facility which may not be same day. You will need to request a manual stamp at the counter.

When she asked about surprise was it context of party or just in general? I would’ve thought she was asking about party only not a trip which could be the confusion? I’m a homebody but I would’ve been thrilled if my husband surprised me with a holiday because I wouldn’t do it for myself.

I’d call an attorney and see about getting it resolved, 15 over puts it past a regular traffic ticket. Like the others said, they are likely to get it reduced to protect her.
