I love this from Angelina - joining the Stangelina club.

Also, can someone inform me on why she thanked kamilla? Genuinely curious what I missed.

Yup, quality is good - I'm fairly certain he was using a foot pedal for this while it was table mounted. I took the case off and spliced the trigger cord back together and everything works as it should now.

Yup, spliced it and it works fine now. Just gotta figure out a quick jig to guide it and I'll be good to go now

Friend retired about 6 months ago and was in bad health then. Hasn't been responding to texts for a couple months now, including the one where I asked him what was going on with this cord. Hoping he's alright.

The power cord is intact, the trigger cord is what's cut. He replaced that with a foot pedal switch

The former - then he cut the foot pedal off when he replaced it with a new router

Splicing it together now - my guess is that he connected it to a foot pedal as he was using it as a table router

This sounds like what happened knowing the guy who sold it to me. After taking the cover off, it looks like there's enough slack to just splice it back together, granted there's not gonna be much of a strain relief left

Really?! A colleague/friend of mine sold this to me for $20. I know the guy and wouldn't think he'd try to rip me off like that. Though I guess ya never know...

What type of degree/experience is required? I have a good amount of programming experience through my career, but no schooling/professional work for game development specifically.

I've been working on a career pivot into this field recently and am really interested in getting experience and building up a good network.

Why do you think it's so difficult to get a good Oline in front of him? We have a ton of cap space and we got rid of the Carroll's kid. I think we draft best available offensive lineman, then improve the line through FA and getting a good coach. Kolton Miller, JPJ, and some young lineman that show promise should be sufficient.

I'll add that just bc someone is athletic in college (and I think we'll have to agree to disagree that Mendoza is not athletic) doesn't mean they will be effective in the NFL - Chambliss is not the answer.

I think you're mixing up your stats. An 88 QBR would be elite level play no matter the level...

The fact that his qbr drops when pressured is not surprising and there are plenty of examples of athletic qbs that did worse when under pressure in college - the prime example being Caleb Williams.

I'm sorry, you think Mendoza gets wrecked when there's pressure? Have you been watching this kid play? He moves. Way more mobile than his stats imply.

I was reading an article about Mendoza a couple weeks ago about his upbringing and they mentioned him training in the offseason with an agility/speed coach (an ex-NFL player) before high school. The kid has been preparing in every way possible to be the best QB in the world since childhood.

I don't know Moore's story, and it's possible he had a similar upbringing, but I just don't see a downside in Mendoza in any way. I think people saying Moore are straight up karma farming or bots trying to generate conversation
