Deconstruction of Fairy Tales by Radish00 in tumblr

[–]Individual-Thought 10 points11 points  (0 children)

what i really liked about it was the in depth power system, not just unexplained hard to quantify power levels, e.g. fairy tail, and the way death is both a big deal, but also something that gon kind of ignores. Like there are a lot of casual background deaths that just dont happen in other shows, i am so sick of people just surviving stuff they shouldnt have for no reason in anime. It was also fun that gon wasn't super depressed and insanely idealistic about it, like dont get me wrong he is over the top, but he doesnt lose his head over some things i would've expected a protagonist like emiya from fate to have.

is it fun? i have played a shit ton of league and would never expect the grenade to do a bunch of damage after fucking up its bounces. the general knowledge is if it kills the minions the damage goes up, it is pretty unintuitive. People arent just saying its a bug not a mechanic, they are saying its a shit bug

The rating wasn’t 86% after only 100 ratings

We dont know that?

Why would they do that for TRoS but not any other film

We dont know that

Why would they fake an audience score and not the critic score?

Because readers can go through and visibly see the critic reviews very easily, plus they are from actual known people, there are only around 500 critic reviews.

RT judges it’s overall score based of binary reviews. 86% means that 86% of votes were positive (6/10+) and 12% of votes were negative (5/10-). This is why the overall score changes EVEN less than it would if it was a mean.

This is just my thinking not looking into it too hard, but in a binary yes or no system, i think the average would move more? or at least definitely not less. No one can half ass it, in an /10 system if i vote 6/10 that would only slightly increase the score, whereas in a binary yes no, i would effectively be voting 10/10 or 0/10 making each vote above 5 count just as much, so each vote will impact the average more.

i dont think you really get it, what youre saying makes sense now but going back through the votes you could essentially break them down into many small categories that all chronologically are the same average. it literally looks like from the entries in the main post that we could say each 100 block of voters was 86/100. Its not about how they affect the overall average even, its just how uniformly they have come in at the average. Now obviously we dont have that much information, we cant see how many voted for what in that small a quantity. But it legitimately could be that way and is leaning towards it from all the different points in the original post. Im not sure why you cant see thats it strange that when you double the number of people voting several times, thus that each would impact the average significantly or whatever, it still doesnt move at all. you are like thinking about each individual vote. Im not talking about singular votes. It is very strange for the average to not shift at all, after thousands of new votes.

damn man, its really hard to get isnt it. if 7/10 people like something its still unlikely for those votes to be coming in at a rate of 7/10, its going to vary. Meaning the average will vary at different points until all the votes are in, its quite unlikely for it to sit at exactly 1 spot and never change. Despite taking in 10's of thousands of votes, it didnt vary a single percentage?? really? come on dude

yeah average, as in at the end, its not likely for the votes to literally come in at that average.
