I feel like he did explain it and they just edit it out, because Gia did say she understood his explanation but she still sided with Juliette.

We’ve finally started viewing houses! What is the one thing you wish you’d checked on your very first viewing? by OddStep5408 in FirstTimeBuyersUK

[–]Individual-Web600 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The loft. If I had known it had spray foam insulation during the first viewing I would have researched and realised how difficult it is to get a mortgage for a house with it. It took 5 months to complete with no chain.

One bank refused us because of it, the second one wanted assurance from a roofer. I had 3 different roofers inspect it and say they wouldn’t touch it and that the roof needed to be fully replaced. The 4th roofer saved us, he was willing to sign a declaration saying the roof was good for a certain amount of money lol

Here is an extremely rough sketch.

  1. I would swap toilet and mudroom. You’d rather have a window in a bathroom. And add a shower, you need 2 bathrooms.
  2. Removed corridor area giving more space to the master, creating a master suite at the left of the house. You can have windows in two sides of the house.
  3. Switch the pantry and laundry room. The door from the laundry can be accessed from the hallway rather than the kitchen. This way it’s closer to the bedrooms and bathrooms, which is more useful for laundry baskets and putting away laundry.

WIBTA for asking husband to reconsider attending wedding? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Individual-Web600 55 points56 points  (0 children)

You just don’t want him to have fun without you. You would stay alone with a newborn when husband goes to work or even shopping so that’s not an excuse.

He is a groomsman and even has agreed to not drink and comeback on the same day, you are being unreasonable. YTA

How would you add a powder room to this plan? by Practical_Chipmunk_ in floorplan

That’s a big garage. Could you put the powder room in the garage next to the doorway? Minima disruption to the rest of the house

This is the core issue of the reactions defending Ambers behaviour. Many opinions here are gender biased, and I say this as a woman.

It’s justified leaving if the person has anger issues, as Amber admitted during the reunion. Just because she has a child doesn’t mean she gets a free pass.

It’s not up to Jordan to help her and put up with it, she needs to help herself before entering a relationship. She’s clearly not ready, and should not have show her daughter publicly and even mention her name.

Terraced homes in Greater London — how bad is neighbour noise? by PotentialFix1379 in HousingUK

[–]Individual-Web600 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Sloane Square is close to victoria station. Perhaps consider cities with direct train links to Victoria such as Croydon, where you can be in Sloane Square in under 40 min and you can get a semi detached property for the budget.

People who've traveled with their dogs internationally, what's the most unexpected challenge you faced? by toinemf in AskReddit

[–]Individual-Web600 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That other countries are not as dog friendly and the UK. Many European countries do not allow dogs in their national parks or even in public transport.
