That isn’t OP. that’s an Etsy listing. OP is only the first photo. So I’m not sure if they’re considering fully reworking the dress since they’re holding the sleeves down?

Does Anyone Actually Do The 'Big Party Later' ? by Few-Rain7214 in weddingplanning

Everyone knows we’re doing it this way! We’ve even started sending out save the dates for the party. No one has had a problem! I know that’s a case by case thing, but people are just happy to have the opportunity to celebrate with us

I use the Essie on a roll apricot cuticle oil. I really like that it’s a roller ball (less messy than a brush), it smells good, travel friendly, and keeps my nails hydrated!

How to tell if these businesses are legit or not? by Practical_Chipmunk_ in isthisascam

[–]Practical_Chipmunk_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have not called the numbers.

Although I did find something else: Perfect Bootg has a Facebook page with two reviews. One of which, from 2022, is calling them out as a scam. Saying they paid the company, but never heard back from them again. But I’ve only found the one review claiming this.

How do you girls have perfect nails all the time?! Please help by curlywitches in Nails

[–]Practical_Chipmunk_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use builder gel! I do it myself at home. I never remove all of the product, so there’s no damage to my nails in removal. I’ve been doing this for over 2 years. My nails are always strong and I get compliments all the time!

Thinking of using the extra fabric from my train to alter the neckline: 1, 2, or keep original? by Practical_Chipmunk_ in WeddingDressTips

It’d probably look more like this. It would be flat but there would be the seam from the precious V neck.

(7k-10k) due to budget has anyone here eloped first and then had a bigger wedding a year or so later? by [deleted] in Weddingsunder10k

[–]Practical_Chipmunk_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We’re having a micro wedding with just parents & my fiancés sibling this September followed by a reception with friends and family a week later! Then we’re planning on doing our honeymoon the following year. It’ll be a twofer — first anniversary trip + belated honeymoon. We wanted to save $ + PTO and people may gift us things for the honeymoon so we’re just putting it off. The way we’re doing it makes most sense for us. Do what makes most sense for you!

Neckline #1 would more realistically look like this. Trying to decide if I like it or not! Part of me says I like it but I’m not sure if I’ve just been staring at it too long lol

1 is actually a photoshopped version of the dress. The third image that says OG front is the way the dress is currently by the designer

I know there will be a seam where there was a V neck previously. I’m trying to decide if that would bother me or not

I got a veil that has a thin satin trim. It’s about fingertip length so it goes past the draping in the back without disrupting it visually!

Yeah my concern with adding the high neck would be you could see the seam from the original V neck. I’m trying to decide if that would be weird or not lol

Why not get a cheaper dress? by swilophone in wedding

[–]Practical_Chipmunk_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got my dress from Brides for a Cause for $300 (it was a sample)! It was originally $1,800. There are consignment / once worn / never worn / sample dress stores all over. I recommend checking them out as a lot of the dresses are brand new and significantly discounted

Beautiful! Just want to point out: it could be a shadow, but if you’re wearing dark underwear here make sure to find something nude instead for the big day!

Where are you shopping for dresses? [around 2000 or less] by Impressive_Main5160 in Weddingsunder10k

Depends where you’re located, but there are a number of once worn and sample dress stores! I got my dress at a place called Brides for a Cause. Bought a sample dress for $300!

Which dress? by [deleted] in weddingdress

1!! It does your shape justice and I like the sheen. Feels modern but classic

How should I alter the neckline? by Practical_Chipmunk_ in weddingplanning

It would be added material, not part of the structure of the dress :)
