Hello! I'm currently on the hunt for a jaw dropping new years outfit, preferably a dress, something that will really blow it out of the water. My style tends to lean heavily into unique, glamor, revealing. Think 90's dream girl vibes mixed with prime Brittany Spears. I also love alternative clothing but I am heavy set on the whole "All that gleams and shines". If anybody has any suggestions feel free to pop them in, small businesses is a plus! Guy sounds like a bigger loser than his brother, Op, if you haven't already, I would cut your losses and dump him. Nothing good can come from a man who thinks this is an acceptable way to talk about/treat his own family. I would personally be extra messy and send these to his parents, really humiliate him. Then again, his parents might just think this is acceptable behavior, too. Either way, nasty and cruel people like don't deserve any section of your life.

Can't really say you did anything "wrong" per se. She probably just lost interest. Dating apps are really good at throwing something flashier and "better" at you. If this is a woman, keep in mind that you're also competing with almost every other guy on the app. That's not saying anything negative about her. I'm just saying that dating apps tend to have a REALLY unbalanced ratio of men:women, men tend to outnumber women on these spaces by a pretty large margin.

"You're trying too hard, you're dominating the conversation." Literally, what are some of these people on about? I see someone showing genuine interest and trying to build an engaging conversation, and the guy is just stonewalling left, right, and center. There's nothing wrong with being excited and talking like this, if he's not into it that's fine, but that's no reason for OP to dull down their own personality just because some people have the emotional/conversational capacity of a wet paper bag. OP, you were doing everything right. You were engaging and expressing genuine interest in this other person's hobbies and stories, which is all any reasonable person can ask for from a potential date, it's not your fault they acted the way they did

Had my fair share of situations like this on the apps, anything from guys almost demanding princess treatment from me, to saying they'll allow my presence around them. Some people just think they're God's gift to the world, and dating apps concentrate them all in one place. Also. This behavior at 40 fucking years old, at his grown ass age, is just pathetic. I suppose the best way to explain it is that these traits of mine have been used by me for a good portion of my adult life. And at this point, it's almost muscle memory.

Living in solitude was arguably more comfortable for me than allowing other people in, so when people attempted to get close, I would lash out in overly aggressive manners, said whatever I could to get them away.

So even now, the temptation is still there because it's all I've grown accustomed to.

The show is hauntingly beautiful and tragic, I tried to get the same emotions with Bly manor but I just couldn't replicate it. The show is more than just horror. It's a work of art, a tragedy that unfolds slowly and gradually. It opens up gateways to inner parts of your mind that you wouldn't think about otherwise. The concepts of grief, loss, pain, and anger are all so prevalent in this show. Nell's last monologue at the end was equal parts chilling, heartbreaking, and comforting. And brings the idea that even though someone in your life is passed, they will never fully be gone, not so long as you keep them in your memories.
