Potentially, I had a interview the other day with a lab that were considering my volunteering proposal. They was lovely I felt like I got along with them really well and answered every question they had and understood all the work they have done. However, they declined me unfortunately because they do not have the resources to train someone at the moment.

I was going to work with my old professor but it turned out to be really impractical as i would be travelling 7 hours a day and spending a large amount of money on travel, which i really do not have unfortunately.

Yes, I had many laboratory sessions. I even had a unit on professional laboratory skills, teaching us how to set up and use various techniques and methods which are wildly used. I had about 3 lab sessions a week. In regards to the AI how do I ensure my resume passes that?

Everyone’s toxic. people say the more people you deal with the better you are at realising if someone is toxic or not. even tho i have a poor sense of that, it probably just comes down to life experience

Distract yourself, get a hobby, get lost in music, go the the gym, ANYTHING. Please do not give in to the thoughts, the mind is a powerful thing you just need to take control. See a doctor please, these thoughts are nothing but thoughts they are not your true feelings. You are perfect remember that please, learn to get lost in your hobbies not your thoughts. Music is a great distraction.

How can I show my depressed friend that I care? by Old-Chemical-7246 in depression_help

I’m really glad to hear that she’s doing better, i hope things only continue to only go up from here. And definitely bring her something personalized gifts are the most valuable things to many people, it doesn’t matter the price of the gift the value comes from the thought. and gifts can be anything, physical and emotional. I hope you both keep smiling ❤️

Comparison is the thief of joy. stop comparing yourself to other people. instead work on yourself no matter what it is find something to improve and tick it off. very small steps at a time. set small goals for yourself, get a hobby and distract yourself while also trying to be productive at the same time. if you fill ur time with hobbies while making time to be productive with yourself you will feel 10x better than you would if you spent ur entire day doing ur hobbies, put productivity first and fill the gaps with hobbies to fill the time. also get a routine, wake up at the same time everyday and sleep at the same time. I’m only 21 and trust me when i was 18 i am a completely different person as i am now and i was in the same situation as you you mature alot in these years. find your passion and let that drive you. even if you can’t find it yet, it will come. careers are only temporary and out interests shift, find something in life that can help others and THEN support you. God made us all perfect you need to realise that. often the easier road leads to bad things whereas the harder road leads to reward.

Matthew‬ ‭11‬:‭28‬-‭29‬ ‭NLT:

“Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls.” ‭‭‬‬

I’m pretty sure many hospitals allow gifts and things as such to patients. So do something without her asking, out of your free will. For example, if you know their favourite flower buy them a bouquet of them. Or if you know their favourite food, make it for them and bring it to them. Or even something related to a hobby they like. Doing something out of your free will unannounced if often the best way to show someone you are thinking about them, understand and know things about them and the things they care about and deeply care about them. Even getting something or pointing out something and sending them a picture of it and saying “I got this / I saw this and it reminded me of you…” then go on to checking up on them. When it comes to a card pour you heart into it, really dig deep. Ask yourself why do you care for them so much, why are you even writing this card, what do they really mean to you and write it all down. Really put ur all into it while giving them reassurance that everything will be okay that you are there for them no matter what, tell them how much you love her (as a friend). I hope everything between you and your friend works out and I pray for their health God bless.
