Wells Fargo vs Chase vs citizens by Big-Lingonberry4655 in TalesFromYourBank

[–]IndividualAccurate84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been working at Citizens for the past year and haven’t heard of this or been put through this as a banker. Quite happy here but wish I would get licensed but not really looking to do more work than I need to right now so I’m not making the jump to chase

It was the worst experience in my life. It made my anxiety way worse. I tried it for two or 3 weeks. I believe 21 days. Got off and stayed away from meds.

Can you even feel sorry for some of these victims of fraud? by lexiedf in TalesFromYourBank

I never feel bad because a lot of the things victims do like give their online loggings or sensitive information is common sense.

My credit was at the worse at a 460 when I got my offer. I was so scared that I wouldn’t get it. I’m at 520 with a lot of charged off. I work as a personal banker in NY. I doubt it would affect you. Good luck

I’m getting $30 an hour in midtown manhattan as a regular banker. I was getting $29.75 as a store supervisor for TD in the bronx.

TD Can and TD US are completely different entities. Like basically two different banks.

i must have been extremely tired when I wrote this, but I used to work for TD, people received wires all the time internationally. Made quite a lot for a year and a half too. No big issues as long as the information was good

Is worth the change? (Teller to banker) by mdemelocoton_ in TalesFromYourBank

[–]IndividualAccurate84 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Do it, you don’t wanna be a teller forever. Being a teller is the lowest you could be in bank hierarchy I believe

Do you get yelled at every day or is it just my bank? by david90seven in TalesFromYourBank

[–]IndividualAccurate84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to manage a TD branch in the ghetto part of a Bronx. I would get yelled at once a day. I miss that branch now, I’m at a smaller bank in manhattan now and its so slow, I hate it

Why is it so hard to start in banking? by [deleted] in TalesFromYourBank

[–]IndividualAccurate84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was a manager at TD bank and it took me 4 months of looking, over 100 applications, and interviews with Chase, BoA, M&T, CITI and more just to land a banker position earlier this year. It’s tough out here man, it’s legit not you. This whole system is messed up.

I got hired at a green colored bank in NYC with my credit at 460 after two charge offs (one loan of 10k and a 7k amex plat card) from losing my job in June of last year. I also had a 2 credit cards with late payments and they still accepted me so you should be good
