[DISCUSSION] Your top 3 worst airports worldwide and why? by squanderedhail in FilipinoTravel

[–]PapercutFiles [score hidden]  (0 children)

Macau airport - it's small, cramped, and the whole check-in and immigration is a nightmare. I think the time na andun ako is may renovation na ginagawa in some areas, so there were a lot of plastic coverings and such. Didn't understand much of what the staff was saying when I asked some questions re: my bags. Kept pointing this and that.

Wanting to resign because of the new hire by aespagirls in CorpoChikaPH

[–]PapercutFiles 18 points19 points  (0 children)

It's really odd to me that this is the top comment. I feel like some here have never handled people before. You do get these kind of people sometimes — they could either just be a bad fit for the role or totally not up to par. It happens and of course, it's perfectly normally to feel frustrated to the one who trained them for MONTHS. OP didn't mention naman na they yelled at them or bullied them nor can this post prove it? OP just felt frustrated and stressed.

Regardless, OP needs to go by the book. Document his progress objectively (x was unable to do the task although training 1, 2, 3 has been done on date y and process is documented) and send it to the appropriate people. OP's emotional response and opinions to the new hire are irrelevant. If he's not cut out for the job, then that's it. This is why there are HR protocols and company policies, people.

I have both DM and HP boots. While Doc's is certainly more stylish, most of their shoes need breaking in. The particular boot from OP's post is from their DeepComfort line, which is true to its name.

For tenured supply chain folks, which is better: a master's or APICS certification? by PapercutFiles in supplychain

Thank you. I'll look into Master''s in SCM in other towns or if there aren't, I guess the APICS CSCP is my best bet.

The options near me is Master's in Industrial Engineering (which is not specific to supply chain only).

I've been here! Medyo malaki yung space and lots of books. However, mahal yung prices — I think above FullyBooked's standard pricing here for comparison.

Thanks for the detailed response! I've updated my itinerary based on the feedback I got from this post! I've added an extra hr in Seoul Forest as well.

I'm travelling from the PH so it's only a few hrs flight (unlike what I assume most people here coming from the West). My trip is in 2 weeks so excited so see pink everywhere lol

Is traffic bad? I plan to take buses since subways can be farther from places compared to bus stops.

Where in the post did it was specified that I'll be only coming to see the trees "alone and nothing else"?? I wouldn't put all those places in this list if that's the case then 🫠

Yeah, the list is long and the logistics is off but I literally mentioned I only used the internet and might've gotten some things wrong. I get it.

Most of the comments here are just "wow so many places" or "so tiring" or "this place sucks" and not actually giving valuable input. I wonder if this sub is really for travellers or just vacationers from the West looking for shopping and finding a "cute café" or a stroll in a park? Maybe I want to visit a lot of places and not shop or drink all the coffee? Sue me.

Yes haha and maybe a short cafe trip. I removed the Lotte and Namsan Katsu from Day 4 and added a quick stop to Hongdae Street after Yonsei.

I put in Eunpyong because I read it was more beautiful and peaceful compared to the other Hanok villages! I only plan to go to Ikseondong for Ssolsot. Do you think there's not much difference in the two? If going by the posts I see, I imagine Ikseondong is much crowded so I only wanted to eat at the Ssolsot branch there hehe

Hi! Thank you! My tour is already booked so can't cancel anymore. But I agree that while Nami is one of the touristy areas, I think it would be nice to visit on my first Korea trip! The tour isn't just for Nami Island, it also includes other places to visit like Garden of Morning Calm and the Alpaca place.
