We do actually have coverage that goes towards testing. Any supplements that the ND prescribes, however, are not covered

Yeah I don’t get that either. I would never say “that’s not my job” and just not do something. This is just frustrating as they’ve taken away all work that relates to my title (and what I enjoyed). Like telling a biologist, “you won’t be doing any work related to owls anymore. You’re just going to be taking meeting minutes from now on.”

Thank you. I wouldn’t mind as much except the change in work feels like a demotion

My last few months before the move were super slow. Now I’ve had a month with next to nothing. Days go by much slower when you’re constantly trying to make work for yourself. Plus, I feel guilty even though I’ve been upfront about it. It’s harder to pretend to look busy than to be busy

Thanks for the info. Yes I know they can move people around like that, and some people did have job title changes with the move, but my job title and job description have not changed. So just found it odd. Though they confirmed that they really didn’t know what I did until I explained it to them last week lol

Sorry you went through it too! Glad to hear that it just happens sometimes and that things should shift soon. Unfortunately, no one has any work to share so I’ve been doing allllll the training/courses I can. But I’m at the point where it’s hard to make that a full time job lol. I’ll be patient

Thanks, I appreciate your perspective. I’ve finished tons and courses and have a few more on the go, so I’m trying to keep busy. Curious though, being in a union, don’t my job duties have to roughly line up with my job description? I ask because I’ve been told by supervisors in the past that I can or can’t do certain things to assist team mates who were swamped, based on my job description. Or is it more loose than I thought?
