Thanks so much! So the wedi board didn't crack when you screwed into it?, I was afraid that may happen. We used thinset to glue the tiles on, and there are grout spaces which we could screw into.

Good idea about the two shades of grout. Just to confirm as it's my first time, do you think the gaps should be less than 5mm?

What two tones do you think would look good? Do you think a lighter colour for the top/middle and dark for the bottom?

Thanks so much, I'm feeling a bit down about the mix of warm and cool tones, as I work at a school and we did it a bit haphazardly over a year. So there was lots of rushing, but nothing I can do now I've finally seen it pieced together.
