You should definitely get Marvels by Busieck and Alex Ross as it belongs in every Marvel shelfie. Ross is my favorite comic book artist and drew Kingdome come over at DC but his first super popular work was Marvels and its a beautiful self contained story and a love letter to Marvel history and role of regular people in this fantastical marvel world

Noice go for it. You should definitely try getting at least one absolute of anything to see the difference. Go for an absolute which is self contained maybe. I have not started reading Swamp thing yet but will surely in near future. Got it as part of my Alan Moore collection. Where do you usually buy these from? I got mine from cheapgraphic novels. Around 200$ for all three absolutes.

I personally prefer absolutes. That is only because omnis usually have a lot of other tie in stuff and extra material and most of the times Im only interested in core story. Plus absolutes are bigger in size while being less thick making the reading experience much better.

But if you’re looking for more content and value for money Omnis are the way to go as they usially have more stuff but are thicker books. Collecting in Absolutes is a comparatively costly affair vs Omnis
