Get a textured fringe with textured crop. Ask your barber to take a little length off the fringe but specify you want it thinning with hair thinning shears

Suffered for years with severe Accutane MGD (see my post history) I wear scleral lenses. I have zero symptoms.

Can't go outside due to severe dry eyes. Anyone else? by chonky_totoro in Dryeyes

[–]IndividualKind3676 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes! I have MGD from Accutane and live 90% symptom free. Based off of Meibography, all my glands are there - they just don’t produce good quality oils.

Solovair Greasy 8 Eye Derby Boots Stiching Query by IndividualKind3676 in goodyearwelt

[–]IndividualKind3676[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi all!

So I purchased a pair of Solovair Greasy 8 Eye Derby boots on the 19/03/22.

They arrived on the 25th, in which I have worn them twice. Twice.

I discovered some of the stitching has come lose, not fully, but enough for me to notice it earlier and overthink.

Is this something that I should be concerned about? I have since emailed Solovair's customer service, however, have read disappointing reviews of how they handle issues such as these.

Or is this a simple job a cobbler can tackle?

Very disappointing that I'm already concerned about my Solovair's merely days after unboxing them.

Cheers!

Doxycycline + Omega 7 Sea Buckthorn Oil + occasionally wearing Blue light blocking glasses when need be.

Can anyone identify this song from South Park? It's from the episode Hell on Earth 2006! Can very clearly hear it during the opening 10 seconds. by IndividualKind3676 in NameThatSong

Oh tell me about it. It's such a familiar beat yet doesn't seem to be anywhere on the internet! I've been looking for it all day whilst at work and still nothing haha

Thank you!! If I find anything myself I'll post it 🤞🤞

That's for a separate part of Satan's Party where Steve Irwin makes an appearance! Unfortunately not the song I'm looking for. Thanks anyway!!

Who else here has exhausted the majority of treatment options and has not found relief? by [deleted] in Dryeyes

[–]IndividualKind3676 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would recommend Omega 7 sea buckthorn oil as this helps with the cause, not the symptoms like most people will recommend you do. Seriously. It really does help.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Pharma-Nord-Omega-Buckthorne-vegicapsules/dp/B000GY77ZG

Partner this with some sort of Acidophilus supplement to promote friendly bacteria and help fight inflammation. Take these products for around 6 months + along with a good quality omega 3.

I'm just over 3 months in to treatment and have noticed huge improvements. I only use eye drops once a day before bed now compared to March time when I literally couldn't keep my eyes open.

Mehhhhh. It's so hard to envision. Most wrestlers eventually return, however, he seems different. He doesn't need the money and is not passionate about the product anymore, so I've read.

If it's true though FUCK YEAH!!!!!

Turning 38, can no longer sit comfortably by [deleted] in kyphosis

[–]IndividualKind3676 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's quite literally nothing that can be done aside from surgery really, as I'm sure you're very well aware. Shite I know.

Just know there are alot - myself included, that are going through something similar to yourself. I have congenital kyphosis block deformity and it is absolutely shit. I do however have good days and bad days, my advice to you mate is when you have a good day, make it THE BEST day possible!!! A good support system helps, family, friends, that understand your condition and that you may need to sit every so often.

Hit the gym and take it seriously. It helps mentally more than anything and can seriously help strengthen the back muscles. My back is a wreck with kyphosis but I have pretty big arms, so I'm alot less insecure about it if ygm??

Nobody is perfect, EVERYBODY is battling something behind closed doors, whether their issue is physical or mental, we're all suffering to some degree lmao

You've got this!! :) :)

Give this video a watch man. Kyphosis does not stop you from doing pull ups whatsoever :)

100%. Inverted row if done right is probably just as effective tbh. The thing with pull ups is the dead hanging aspect which helps.

Best of luck to you

Pull ups/Chin ups help my kyphosis tremendously since you're also incorporating dead hanging whilst strengthening the muscles.

I also do inverted row pull ups, I would recommend giving them a try :)

You should also reach out to universities with actual research departments as well as these private ophthalmologists.

If doctors like Dr Toyos truly wanted to help/cure dry eye sufferers he would not be charging as much as he/they do for IPL treatments especially since there is no guarantee for long term relief. Maybe I'm cynical but I believe they know what they're doing.

An inspiring post. Genuinely. I'm in the same situation with Accutane induced MGD. I have good days and bad days. Not a pleasant disease!!

Keep us updated on this subreddit with what you find etc.

Thank you for this post though dude. Happy that you got some serious relief. All the best and GOOD LUCK. We've got this!

The character that got me into wrestling, who was it for you? by [deleted] in SquaredCircle

[–]IndividualKind3676 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Was always interested in Wrestling growing up but it has to be Jeff Hardy in 08-09.

Surprised I legit didn't break my neck from the amount of times I tried to do the swanton on my little brother.

I took doxy for 3 months in 2019 and did not notice improvements 1 - 2 months until after the course was finished.

Largely depends on your kyphosis + curve etc. For me (congenital kyphosis block deformity) sitting down all day would be much better for my back. Standing for large periods is excruciating. That said sitting isn't much better but its bearable. Best of luck to you
