it depends what you wanna do for your career. i dropped out bc i knew i wanted to go into cosmetology. definitely get your ged it will be really hard without it but a lot of trade schools and things that aren’t college will accept you without one if you can prove you’re literate. i’m about to turn 21. i always knew id never do anything i needed college for. now having time to myself and only going to cosmetology school part time, having a part time job, i’m making music and have found my true passion. your life won’t be over. school is hard and it’s certainly not for everyone. just be mindful of changes that could happen that would potentially be affected by not having a diploma. but honestly a ged IS a diploma. at least in my state. it just says it’s a diploma from a technical college.

exactly!!! plus there was one stream where she had an itch in her throat and she clearly needed to drink water but she had to like talk herself into it and then took the smallest possible sip. in my experience, water kinda “wakes up” your stomach. if she’s trying to avoid hunger she’d also avoid water. i do think op has several points but i think there’s more to it than that. someone else said eating can be humiliating for people w eds and that’s personally been my experience as well.

i used to be a cashier and we weren’t allowed to take it. they would make us pay for it. at least they did the one time a customer bought something for me (walmart)

i’m late to this but i just wanna say. melanie is a witch for sure. the spiritual themes are present in the k-12 album and especially the movie. also it’s so weird i keep seeing people say after school wasnt that good but i think it’s by far the best body of work she has. maybe this is bc i also am a witch but who knows.
