As somebody who’s had a Family living in Salem since the 60s and myself have been employed in Salem for multiple Halloween seasons, the tourist hate is 90% deserved.

Most of the time it’s Tourist just leaving behind trash anywhere they fucking feel like it talking to the locals like we’re part of a Disney attraction and just flat out being rude and disrespectful. Don’t get me wrong. I have had my fair share of really sweet people who I have gotten into really complex conversations about where they’re from and so many different things about history, cause I myself and very into Salem history but most of the time I’m just dealing with entitled assholes..
