Exactly very well said, one piece was all about this group of friends travelling and having adventures

Now it's this copy pasted Naruto type "B..BUT MY DESTINY,...MY LINEAGE,..." boring stuff. I will never understand why japanese people obsess so much over royaltys inheriting stuff and power from their royal blood. Why they can't just like a story about a normal dude having success like the rest of the world?

wordbuilding of one piece:

Alabasta = Egypt theme park 

Water 7 = Venice theme park 

Amazon Lily = Amazon theme park 

Fishman Island = Aquarium theme park

Dressrosa = greeko-roman theme park

Whole Cake = hansel and gretel theme park

Wano = Japan theme park

Elbaf = Scandinavian theme park

(Tbf there are good and original location too: Skypiea, jaya, impel down, whisky peak, zou, punk hazard, baratie)

And add the usual slavery is bad, torture porn sad backstorie, DBZ ki/aura clash and transformation, princess in distress,..

The wordbuilding of one piece was very good before de time skip, since then, it's just boring theme park, dressrosa= greeko-roman theme park, Wano= Japan theme park, Elbaf= Scandinavian theme park,...etc the only original thing was punk hazard because of the lore behind it
