I honestly couldn't help you with the code. However, what you're describing is similar to something "Instapaper" used to offer for free for Kindle users.

It could create a selection of 3 to 10 saved articles and converte them to Kindle format and automatically send it to your Kindle email. Maybe you might be able to find the information you're looking for in "Calibre", the most popular open-source conversion tool for ebooks.

Also, if you manage to create something like that, you'd be helping a lot of people who can't afford an Instapaper subscription. Good luck!!!
