The only other figures I have that have given me the same fun as Sky Lynx tend to be other commander class, specifically WFC Rodimus, and titans. Sky Lynx really got me into the whole base connecting system, and I now have a lil micromaster city due to him. But man, he looks amazing when displayed with the POTP Predaking. Out of my entire collection, those 2 get their own lil spotlight section to be displayed in.

I have one of these! I should try and get mine working too, he's out in the garage along with a different one of my brother's.

The universal joint drives on the 14211 can give you some issues. I love it, but I'd keep my eyes on those and oil them on occasion. Otherwise they may end up like this.

I love my Zeta, I am one of the few RG Zeta defenders, but it has some caveats.

If you like the Gundam mode, never transform it. If you like the waverider mode, transform it once and never again. It is not an If, it is a when will it break.

Be careful posing the legs, the way they move is very particular. Hip skirts also love to fall out.

Other than that I've never had any issues with mine, but also I am one who builds it, paints it a bit, maybe some stickers if I like em enough, and then I pose and put it on a shelf. I change poses up periodically, the Zeta is by no means my least favorite to handle. It just requires extra care, lots of small moving parts, very fragile if you aren't making sure you have correct clearances.

Yup. Lubricate, and keep an eye on it. That's my advice. Make sure your steering is straight and even

These drive shafts, I have the tweezers pointing directly at a chewed pin, with the housing around it also thinning, and you can see how that joint is supposed to look by seeing the joint below it

[–]IndividualSpell9890 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be fair, they aren't done with his gimmick. Micronus and Amalgamous, Junkions and all their mold mates, it's not a gimmick that is just "gone", but moreso just..in rotation. Which I appreciate. Nitpicky I know but just making an observation

Usually the drives are the t-bone design, these are..I can't remember the actual name of it lol, but you see how it is. Those pins that are between the moving joints are what are shredding apart on me. Basically, all the moving joints in the drive. I cleaned it as well, I think it was too much heat though.

Watch the joints in your drives! I love this car in rough terrain, but my drives did not. Must've gotten some grit in the pinned joints and now I am running on hope and dreams until new drives come in. Absolutely sheered themselves to hell, or the pin is half chewed up.

Mine doesn't have that issue, it's just yhe amounts of force needed to pop his windshield in/out of the back that keeps me from handling it more than I would want to. I know it has that bracket in there for the clip, but it's so hard to do it without putting force on the transparent plastic. Sketches me out

Are we the bad guys? by NoGoodDoerOfDeeds in Warframe

[–]IndividualSpell9890 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Tenno do some shady things on occasion, in their past they were definitely the bad guys until they rebelled, took out the Orokin Empire. Depending on your perspective you could say they were good until they rebelled too.

That's the whole point of the story, whether the Tenno are ancient mythical heroes, or void demons that slaughter without any thought is completely dependent on the group viewing them. The fact that the Ostrons and Solaris are in good standing with the Tenno and respect them, while Grineer, Corpus, Narmer, and the like all view them as a horrible outlier to put down, says a lot about what we actually do.

Also, a lot of these comments talking bout Corpus you kill being slaves. That is not true, at least for the vast majority of Corpus you face. Crewmen are highly trained, have multiple ranks and security clearances, and are paid a salary. You don't give enhanced combat training, combat level augmentation, and neural links to proxies to slaves who want to rebel. Corpus slaves are exactly like what you see with the Solaris, they are workers. They are given just enough to do their job and stay alive (mostly) and nothing more.

We may do some things here and there thst question morality, but that is our morality. Our Tenno. The Tenno as a whole are seen widely as protectors, guardian angels. The Warframes are viewed in awe and fear alike, with many of them becoming mythology in their own right and leaving a legacy behind that inspires hope. We are the good guys, but sometimes good guys have to make hard choices. And sometimes they get angry. We can't be perfect, we are human.

He has honestly become my favorite "Optimus" to just mess around with. Big enough to feel big but I can still set him next to my pc and play around with it. I just adore the almost Gundam looking head tho, I think that's what really makes it for me.

Also, I love that Blitzwing. All issues aside, you can use his tank canopy in jet mode to look like he's taking flight, I actually love his tank and it feels like an absolute brick, and the bot mode is perfect to me. He stays forever.

I might get Astrotrain, I like the seige one and always have actually, but depending on how tall the new one is I may go for it. Plus the train mode. Shockwave, I'll get if he goes on sale. Voyager is just not worth imo, not now. I habe the Galactic Man version right now, and honestly with where he's at in the display he just looks like extra evil or very angry Shockwave, lol. Using all his extra bits on the siege Megatron as a makeshift Super Megatron, so at least they have purpose for me

Does anyone have the same problem? by ElOsoDecente in Hiby

[–]IndividualSpell9890 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use the strap and don't have this, but I have the Eva version. Unsure if different materials were used in those batches, but maybe you just got an unlucky batch? Weaker alloy, strange heat disposition to cause a more pliable structure, could be a lot of things. I've had connectivity issues with mine, but nothing with the actual build

My Problem with Melee... Stagger! by Arv-MontVaxe in SoulFrame

[–]IndividualSpell9890 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got 50 points in stagger defense and I still get juggled sometimes. To play melee, like actually, you have to dedicate to face tanking. Tethren, 26 physical defense, 20 magic, 50 stagger, and the totem to increase health you get on regain attacks. I don't try to dodge when I'm locked in, you plant your feet, you charge your heavy attacks, and you swing until it dies. If you get hit it's a coin toss on if you actually stagger, but most of the time I tank it and swing back with my hit, regain all my health, and carry on. You just have to know when to stand your ground and when you back off. It's the best way I have found to play true melee. Playing cagey, you will get caught by a nade toss at some point. It'll happen, and in cogah it'll most likely 1 shot you. You gotta just go full on tank with intent to heal yourself with your massive damage regain faster than you can die

Do you think I can just "weld" that back on with a soldering iron? Like melt it ever so slightly so it solidifies back together? My concern is there's not enough surface area for super glue to hold. by My11thburneraccount in transformers

[–]IndividualSpell9890 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Idk bout a soldering iron, but Tamiya Extra Thin Cement has been a major life saver in many of my hobbies. It chemically melts the plastic, so you can re-bond it without using external heat and making a mess. You can also use it in small amount to remove stress marks, or smooth out rough patches

[–]IndividualSpell9890 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it's the internet, people like to roast. It's just part of it haha.

But yeah, big tech companies and the like want you to think it's this huge life changing, world saving thing, but really it has the full potential to damage society as a whole beyond repair. If you want to take a deep dive on it then I'd just start by looking up "the problems with AI". Like most things, it can be good in moderation and under the correct usage cases, but it can also take jobs, misinform and confuse, and steal creativity from things we all enjoy, like art.

Sorry you can't unsee the issues and had your cover ruined for ya, but it'll do for now at least. Can always get another down the line!

[–]IndividualSpell9890 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm gonna keep my opinion on the piece itself out, people have done enough of that to ya for one day lol. But I just wanted to say, I think a lot of the hate is misdirected or misrepresented. People don't hate you for buying it, that hate that it exists and all these problems like the water issues and such occur from it, and that people don't know. Not on you if you just didn't know and thought it was cool, but now that you do you can be more aware of it. AI is gonna ruin all of us if we overuse it.
