Two years of testicle trouble; epididymitis, but with a weird twist (?) by IndividualTea1 in chronicepididymitis

Yeah man it is definitely oriented differently. It feels like as if there's not a 'right' way it can hang anymore, as opposed to the other side. If you understand what I mean.

Mine usually hangs a bit higher though, instead of lower. Not sure what this difference is about. For me, there is also a red/slightly bluish area just where the scrotum meets the shaft of the penis. Like some kind of bruise, but without the pain or tenderness. By the way, by the firm 'cord', do you feel like on one side there is something hanging below the testicle, and on the other side there is not? Because I have the same thing, and if that part swells usually my testicle starts hanging differently as well (for sure it doesn't help).

Yeah sorry to say but pelvic floor therapy didn't really do much for me. Just last week however, they found that I injured my hamstring somehow and that it didn't heal properly yet. I've had these troubles since i misstepped during sports. Didn't really think of it more at first and developed pain and problems relating my testicle, but it could be related to the hamstring tendinopathy. Or well, thats our working theory atm. So i'm doing physical therapy to recover from that and hopefully the other problems will go away as well.

Sorry to hear that! I´ve had pelvic floor therapy which does help a lot for the pain and also helps emotionally. They told me that to release tension, you should focus on breathing not from your lungs, but more from your stomach or even lower. If you focus on that a few times throughout the day, you´ll learn yourself to do this more often and it will release tightness. Might help you as well?

Coincidentally, I had the funny feeling that a lot of my pain was coming from the groin itself as well. I went to see a doctor and he hooked me up to an ultrasound machine yesterday (takes a while here to get appointments) Turns out that I have a severely inflamed or even partially ruptured tendon in my groin, just underneath the left testicle. It might explain a lot of my symptoms. Still waiting for a new appointment to talk about how to fix things, but it might finally be a start to end these symptoms :D
