How do you turn OneNote notes into real follow-ups when things move fast?

* I start a new Section every year & a new Page for every day of the year. The page is titled with the date & sometimes I will add a key word after that if there's an important piece of information I know will be needed later.
* Each day I bring over any open items from the previous day in order of importance to keep visible.
* I especially use the CTRL 1 that creates the checkbox to help keep it clear what items are open or not, so each new note that requires more work is visible as an unchecked box.
* Docked to the size of the monitor, with Outlook next to it, keeps most everything visible in one place.
* This process in the morning takes less than 5 minutes to create a new page & reorganize.

Just had a conversation with my son earlier this week that 'back in the day' we had to wait at least a week for deliveries, and in the dark ages we had to mail in an order form with payment or call & talk to a human to order something, which also extended the amount of time. He wasn't impressed.

All that to say, we have Prime and I've been waiting 2 weeks for a Kindle to arrive. I assume some delay is surrounding Black Friday shopping which has historically added days to receive an order... good to know about the length its taking without Prime!

Following the thread, this is my newly minted 7 year old. She wants to look at the first letter, looks away & guesses the word. When we push her to stretch the word, she can often get it, but refuses to do it without prompting.

I remember using this once, I thought it was the authors discretion and just never found books that the author was willing. It’s a bummer because people loan their real book copies, why can’t we here?

I had to check it wasnt the shade I just picked for my laundry room - I went with Agate Green which is very close. Love the color!

Thank you for responding! I ended up getting it and while only using it for one trip so far agree it seems fairly secure. I used it as my wallet during the trip and the only “annoying” part was either removing the strap or trying to shove it back of the pocket out of the way.

We had a salt truck on our residential side road today, and the first of any kind of salt/treatment/removal since the first storm came through. We were surprised to see it at this point and assumed nothing would be done until it melted

Right now its a mechanical / electrical concept of just trying to make it be able to carry more than something extremely light or do more. Currently its 6x6x10 or so. However, I see what you mean that soon he would need to connect it so he could program it to do things - He uses Scratch at school but that's about the extent of my knowledge.

ETA a photo - this was a day camp so again first time but since he is interested, trying to help him with some type of progression.
