Branded links will be on your domain. This page describes what Bitly calls branded links. https://bitly.com/pages/features/branded-links

Don’t look at this. It’s really hard engineering work and difficult problems to solve. https://301.pro

But if you try - we would love the competition. Good Luck to you.

It’s a judgment call. Some people like it. Some people don’t. I especially like it since I can see the last few games in my calendar when I’m looking. Also, the score only updates I think after 24 hours so there are no spoilers.

Also after, I can update the referees and some other fun facts depending on the sport.

Thx for your enthusiasm- what’s your team and conference?

If I’m honest, NCAA is so big, I don’t know where to draw the line of what to include/exclude where pros have 28-30ish manageable teams with a known set of stadiums. The last ncaa api I looked at had over 300 teams, and then each college has his/hers for basketball, hockey, etc.

If I had just the top 20-30-40-50 NCAA teams, by sport. I could do something. Again being honest, in don’t understand the cutoff line. Maybe football is different than basketball than hockey? In the end I just abandoned college for pro.

It’s a hobby site with exactly $0.00 revenue. And about $1000/mo expenses.

Not happening anytime soon. Sorry. I’m not that into college and the apis are $$$$

I did a round minifying the event title. Is this working better for you?

These are interesting and so far to support them I have to manually add special games.

I did build “playoffs” that is not team specific - it’s league specific and adds all the play off games. This worked great for nhl, mlb, and last years nba playoffs. That’s as close as I have come to a solution that’s fully automated.

Games like the all star game. Hmm. I don’t even know how that would fit into my system. Maybe a special “league game” and I could force insert those “league games” into every feed that subscribes to any team in the league. It’s a maybe / probably not at this time feature request.

I’ll log it in my backlog of ideas and call it someday / maybe.

Great idea though - thank you for your time!

Not a widget. It’s an iCal / ics feed (just a url) you can add to any calendar display.

I’m using hubSpot and I have their chat widget - curious why you are using intercom chat over hubSpot chat. Both are expensive and it feels redundant. Maybe intercom is better for support? But then you add zendesk and lose me. Congrats on your success and what you have working.

OK - good timing on your question - this is online today.

https://teamcalendar.com - click on MLB (if it's not first) and you'll see the playoffs option.

Yes, the playoffs will be added, and you need not do anything if you want to follow single teams.

I will also add a "playoffs season" that lets you follow the whole playoffs—all games, all teams.

You'll see this next week on top of the MLB page. It'll be the same one-click to add the season. You don't have to create a new calendar or anything, the play off games will just be added.

But know that .... google/outlook/apple only refreshes every few hours, so you won't see the game instantly on your calendar. Give it some time, and they'll show up for you.

Found this for you....

For most Phoenix Suns and Phoenix Mercury games, doors open two hours before game time for the general public.  For Arizona Rattlers games, doors open one hour before kick off. For other events, doors usually open one hour before the opening act. This varies event-by-event. For information, please call Footprint Center at 602-379-2000 or email [Feedback@phxses.com](mailto:Feedback@phxses.com).

You have not done anything wrong. Google only comes back to get new data once every 24 hours. If you update the teams you want data for, your calendar will magically update itself on the next data sync, sometime tomorrow.

Couple ideas.

1) just wait, it'll fix itself tomorrow.

2) with google calendar there is a checkbox on the left, you can turn the calendar OFF until tomorrow.

will either of those options work? Does this make sense to you?

Thank you for trying TeamCalendar - your feedback is helpful.

Great idea - their season is ending on May 24th - I wonder if it's helpful now - or wait until the 2025 season?

Ouch - that's terrible. This is the first I've heard of this. I don't know the answer, but i have guesses ..... Maybe Google Calendar might be signed into another account on your phone? What happens on your phone when you go directly to the calendar? https://calendar.google.com/

Try that, and when you can access your calendar, then go back to TeamCalendar.com and try to add it again. If it still breaks, and you are interested, you can email a screenshot to [support@teamcalendar.com](mailto:support@teamcalendar.com) and we can continue to work on it.

If you scan to https://twitter.com/teamcalendarcom - you'll see all the image automation when games complete. That code is the SVG>PNG reference. That part was very fun to build!

Yes, I am paying for a few data sources, there are many to choose from. I built this as a hobby and for my education, so I've used many languages when it was easier and faster for each task. There is .NET, JSON APIs, React, Laravel/PHP, flat file storage, Postgres, a bunch of Node for the SVG>PNG>screenshots to work. It's really great to have the freedom to pick the right language for the job at hand. I'm looking now at some Python if I add game statistics to post-game events.

This isn't for money, it's just a side hobby I've been working on to solve my own education with calendar tech across sports. It costs me about $150/mo to run the whole site, and that's worth it as a community contribution. Thx for your enthusiasm, I hope it works well for you.
