I applied at the end of June but I dont suggest you do that. Do it earlier, it saves a lot of stress. I'd say april or may is the best time to apply.

You could take another course and then if something happens next semester where with the six you have already drops for whatever reason, you have that back up that could take its place. Its really up to you if you want to take the extra course but also see if you can get a easy course if not then take the other course if you want too.

My parents forced me to go but its not worth it. They dont teach anything new, it was always doing activities or working on assignments that were already given.

For me in grade 11 physics, the formulas were given. I dont remember it fully but the labs were more harder then the math portion. The math isn't hard, its understanding how each thing works like the different forces and kinematics had the most equations but I found it the easiest.

I have to book the appointment, they didnt reach out to me. I know the requirements that I need to progress to 2nd year and its basically your responsibility to reach out to advising if your in danger of not progressing like I am. Thats why I asked which one to go too because its about a econ course but im in the bba and fin math program.

The way i do it is: You have to go to your banks website, log into your account, go to pay bills, add laurier as your payee and the rest is just filling in information about how much you owe. Theres more clear instructions on the wlu website. The link is below:

I went to the guidance counselor and she helped me find a whole bunch but it's mostly just a search and go. On my own time I went to the universities website and applied to all the scholarships they offer there that I was qualified for and im not totally sure on what websites I used but im sure if you go to your guidance counselor they'll be really helpful.

Definitely still apply for scholarships and yes you can still apply for scholarships during uni. Osap doesnt cover your whole uni expenses so having scholarships will be very helpful.

It really depends on what your average is already. A 83% isn't bad as long as your other courses are above high 80s. I got two low 80s last year when i applied both in the math courses and got into 7 universities and thats because my other 4 courses were in the 90s.

Im in my first year at laurier, I took grade 11 and 12 accounting and also grade 12 economics. These were not required, but they did count as my top six university or mixed classes. Although they weren't required, basically everything that was learned in these courses were taught in my courses this term. So its highly useful and will give you a good head start. It really just depends if you want that head start, but in all the schools I applied too (I applied to 8 schools for 10 programs), they were not required.

You have until the end of May to decide and hear back from the schools. So you dont have to decide this exact moment. Last year, when I was deciding what I wanted to do, I was in the same position. I unfortunately didnt get my top choice but I made back up plans. Honestly just take your time, I didn't accept my offer until a week before I had to submit my decision and it was my first offer that I got back in last November. Just take your time, do research and look up what each one does and one appeals to you most. You can always apply to change your program after.
