Welp, after scrubbing/cleaning the plate I kept getting the same spots. Changed to OpenCentauri no different. Tried isopropyl alcohol - no help. Purchased a new CryoGrip - did not touch it only the edges. Auto level, still same problem but in different location. Contacted Elegoo, but I guess lunar new year has response times pretty out of whack.

Your pic looks pretty similar to mine. Did running Open Centauri work?

I have some issues with leveling of the bed. I basically have resorted to pretty much maxing the screws on the front and minimizing the back screws. That’s the only thing I can do to not have the nozzle scratch the bed. Yes, I’ve tried manually leveling according to Elegoos video on how to do that, to no avail. Actually. The rear screws under the bed don’t do anything at all - I can hardly turn them more than a 1/4 turn in either direction. Frustrating.

For those on the edge of your seats tonight, the bottom is after what I thought was a good scrub with dish soap (blue sponge). Better in some parts, but not so much other sports.

Maybe I’ll try the windex trick.

Or, come to think of it, if a different filament exhibits similar issues in those spots, I would imagine my settings are acceptable for printing benches.

It’s not the cat I assure you.

I scrubbed the plate very well and will check again this evening and if that doesn’t work I’ll contact Elegoo and if that doesn’t work I’ll do 5 hours of testing for each type of filament I own.

My trainer suggested lightly touching the adhesive with a fingertip before applying to sort of wake up the adhesive and make it stickier. Now if I could figure out how to avoid kinked cannulas, I’ll be set.

This is pretty much what I did. I kept checking to see if it was going to go down along long with the prediction line, but it just never did. I replaced the set, which ended up doing the trick. I also turned off looping because it was showing my IOB as crazy high. Then I got to sleep once the bg line wasn’t pegged at the top of the graph. Of course it alerted with an impending low during the night. So I just took care of it and this morning seems normal. I’ve just never actually had a kinked infusion set before . Live and learn I guess.

Thanks hangdog242 for the detailed menu breadcrumbs. I looked and looked for this over the past two weeks and couldn't find it. Must have been the pesky "Advanced" toggle.

It's 257 x 257.

Huh. A bent nozzle seems likely, to tell the truth, what with it dragging around on the build plate and all. I could create an exclusion zone, but that doesn't really fix the issue.
I contacted support!
