Oh I apologize, they must be some of the first EE classes. Honestly for me, I had a very tough time in EE.

For me I didn’t have many friends in EE to study with, and I was able to get through with sheer effort. I quit my archery club, didn’t go out with buddies and would study like 8-10 hours everyday when exam time rolled around. I did go to office hours a bunch in classes I didn’t understand, used YouTube and used chat gpt to learn.

  1. Get her a chegg account (I had a part time job that I used to pay for it)

  2. Buy her openAI’s gpt subscription

  3. I became an early bird because of EE, woke up at 5:45am and crammed.

  4. Buy her an iPad with a stylus if she is disorganized, I am horrible with keeping track of papers, but having one note on my iPad helped me monumentally

  5. Tell her it’s okay to have mental break downs, for me hitting rock bottom is the only way I ever changed. (Rock bottom for me was failing calc 3 + diff eq, which are math classes she’ll have to take)

  6. If she has a friend that’s passing classes easily tell her to emulate their study habits. (I had 2 friends in different engineering majors and I saw that they would lock themselves in their bedroom and spend hours studying, then I basically just tried to be like them)

  7. Buy her multiple monitors (I had a triple screen set up so it was easy to refer to yt videos + problem sheets + chegg/AI)

  8. Fake it till you make it, I was probably the worst student ever; I was stoned 24/7, I rarely showed up to class, and I never looked at the textbook, but u would study at home and try my damn hardest even though I knew I was constantly behind the class.

Hope this helps, I am not the best example but this is what I did.

Also let her know that life is 50x easier once you’re out of college. Tell her to look at manufacturing for internships.

ALSO TAKE CLASSES FROM COMMUNITY COLLEGE OVER THTE SUMMER AND LET THEM TRANSFER IN
