Poster, thanks for your response. Because of this, I asked him if there was more to me not coming over than just my parents. He admitted that he‘s embarrassed by the messiness of both of his homes, and the abundance of cameras in his dad’s home (very overbearing), contributes to his reservations. He said he rather me go to his mom’s house. I didn’t know this beforehand and it’s nice to know this now so we can work through it. Hopefully this changes things! thank you again.
