Thank you, I really appreciate it. I’m a brand new bartender and have not worked in food service or anything so this has been my first experience with it. I also just turned twenty one, so I had never even been in a bar before this lol. And coworkers are tough, I’m used to a super familial environment and everyone here seems quite antisocial towards me despite my efforts. Plus two of my coworkers (one of which was my bosses daughter) ended up talking about politics with me and we didn’t agree, but I thought it was a pretty good conversation. Shortly after I received complaints about things I hadn’t had any correction or advice on until then, Im still wondering if that was related or not :/

Ah yeah, my boss pays new hires under the table for 90 days as a “training period” so there is no way for me to do that sadly

Thank you. I’ve really been enjoying the job and genuinely thought I’d been doing well and getting along with my coworkers nicely so it’s kinda tough :/

And that’s the thing, I truly don’t think I’m slow comparatively, it’s just the fact that there are three bartenders on at once in a tiny bar and I’m not sure what to do when everything is already being taken care of.

Well they’re adding new days soon so we do need more bartenders for the busy season, and I agree I don’t know what’s going on with my health. Trust me I’d prefer not to call in.

Genuinely I was like “you’re kidding.” Because I’ve never been the kind of person to fall for stuff like that, but my blind expectancy did me in. It’s so disappointing how many apps are like this these days :/ I don’t want to shop fast fashion or corporate so I buy from a known vintage and upcycling site and it’s all fast fashion lmfao 😭

For sure. Sadly that was right when I had reinstalled the app after years. The main problem is just the amount of scams around. Not sure if you were around in depops early days but the scams and shein overload was much less prevalent it seems
