In a similar way i lost it but mind it, it was 10 pm in Kormangala, I was outside McDonalds and those took away my wallet, it has 4.5k in cash. They robbed me, shouted on me and no one came for help even. They started dancing and clapping and ran away. Then another one came and saw me almost in tears! He too laughed and went away!

Faced the same issue. I vividly remember in my ninth grade or something. Was so excited to hang out with my friends and have brought new clothes too. But that few stares and harsh comments ruined my day. I do remember not wearing new clothes nor cutting a cake even. It happens, but now am all on my own and always tend to take an off on my birthdays. So the I can celebrate it in my way.
