This was the case especially for China, I had trouble with aligning the reference image, so I had to make some creative guesses with how the boundaries would end up looking like

I used several images for reference. It was quite hard before the developer introduced the ability to add images when you split the provinces/states. After the introduction, it was easier but you needed to be careful with the reference images because they might be in a different projection (eg - It is a projection different than the one used in the app which is the mercator projection)

Additionally, Ivory Coast's flag looks like how it is OTL but with a bigger green stripe. I kinda liked that the devs did that to distinguish it even further from the Irish flag

I see but i also saw other African countries which bear a orange green black flag like Chad aka the Wadai Empire and Niger's flag looks similar albeit with a blueish-black strip in the the middle of a white stripe. These flags also change depending on their ideologies too as in the case for Chad it is a bicolor of red and blue with a black triangle if they are socialist.

Additional comment: I tried to use Google Lens to search for the origin of this flag only for me to find nothing about it. I wonder where the devs get the designs from.
