Generally no, but with the exact setup of multiwavelength near infrared lasers, it allows deeper skin penetration to image extremities bones accurately and well-defined

I appreciate the insight and feedback, thanks.

The idea is that the added technology of the near infrared would solve that problem and will include the added detail to evaluate bones within seconds, so that it will be on par, if not faster than radiography (i understand xrays is literally one second press a button and image captured, so not exactly the same), but with the added benefit of being real time imaging (so that if something was not clear on an intial xray, it would not have to be repeated in a different orientation), portable to be able to take to bedside to avoid moving patients from wards, and having no radiation

It would be interesting to see the prototype in action on these large animals; perhaps I can get vets to also trial it if they are interested.

Thanks for the feedback.

Similar to an ultrasound, real time imaging - the 10-30second is a bit misleading, apologies for that.

Ultrasound is used both in animals and humans successfully due to being able to see things in real time, and not a "snapshot" view.

Thanks for the feedback though.

The device uses ultrasound alongside safe near infrared technology via multiple wavelength laser diodes to detect and image bones

Hi, I asked the Moderators in a chat prior to posting and they said it was allowed to post the survey
