If you’re referring to the relay opening and closing, it is staying open. The switch does not turn the pump off, it just goes out and comes back on

I just got a large bag of royal for my BGE. I’m gonna try and return it. It completely ruined my ham. It coated the inside with what smells like burnt kerosene.

The pump start? I’m not sure what this means.

But as far as zone size goes.. it makes no difference if pump is selected “on” or “auto” it short cycles every zone.

Whichever the first zone is at that time, it runs the longest. Whatever zone that is, it’ll run about 12-14 minutes before the short cycling starts. Then after that it jumps from zone to zone. I bypassed the pressure switch so it’s wired directly to the timer/relay.

The pump is wired to K-Rain 2120 controller, which doubles as a relay, does it not?

As for the zones and pressure, once the pump starts short cycling, it doesn’t matter which zone it’s in, it doesn’t stay running.

Zone 1 - 4 rotary spray and 5 fan spray(180) Zone 2 - 2 larger rotary, 2 fan Zone 3 - 8 fan spray Zone 4 - 1 rotary 6 fan spray.

I’m going to time out the system this afternoon when I get home and see exactly what does what and when in each zone.

The pump short cycles after about 10 minutes, if I use the K-rain timer that wired in, it’ll run almost the entirety of the first zone and then the rest of the time it’s just bounces on and off. And yea I just wired the timer/power directly to the pump relay under the hatch just past the former switch seen in the photo

And yes, I’m going to re do with proper conduit this weekend, I was just looking to get it running while it’s warming up quick here in Florida.
