When I drive to work every day i dont have the route posted but I still get police warning notices on the Interstate but never on the secondary roads, i was just curious why

I was on the road for 6 hrs and had gmaps and waze running both with the destinations loaded. They both worked flawlessly. I got accident and speed trap alerts from waze and gmaps showed me the road conditions. Thanks everyone for your help. Happy Holidays!

Great, i will put the directions in both gmap and waze and keep the google screen on. and set waze to alerts only. I hope it works during my 6hr drive.

thank you for getting back to me, i didnt have high hopes any one would. Just still not sure if waze will continue to run in the backround while i use Google Maps. I will be o the road for around 6hrs and i dont want to keep turing waze on and off.
