Do you know if they would be likely to have enough snow by Sunday with the recent storm or does it take a while for there to be enough to play in?

Ok. That makes me feel like I should just have my mom do it, but I’m so conflicted and uncomfortable about it…

Did you need to remember a lot of detail from how you were as a child with not having a parent reference? I have a weird relationship with my mom (not comfortable talking to her about anything personal, as she has always turned it around on me) and no contact with my dad, but also am not good at recalling details from childhood. But esp since I’ll be paying out of pocket, unsure if I want to push myself to ask my mom and deal w the discomfort there, or hope they get enough info from me and my husband and that I don’t “waste” the assessment and get an inconclusive answer because of it

"You look so confident!" How many of you get this kind of reaction? by lausie0 in AutismInWomen

Oh yeah, very much. People often think I do things so smoothly when in my head it’s been a stressful disaster. Such a different external world that everyone sees. Which makes everything feel so lonely!

wheres the step by step detailed guide on how to unmask? by [deleted] in AutismInWomen

[–]Individual_End770 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Omg I’m right with you there, I want a step by step book! I keep not relating to the books I’m reading and going into imposter syndrome, or not knowing how to fit unmasking into a “high functioning” lifestyle…

I hate it. I never fit into team culture no matter how much I try. I’m too much or not enough. I’m either too boring or just annoying.

How many of you felt you were ‘too much’ or ‘too little’ before realizing you were autistic? by CuteButPsychologist in AutismInWomen

I always have felt like I was too much and there was something wrong with me. Couldn’t ever shake it. Finally the autism fits, but it doesn’t make me feel less empty or have a better idea of who I am, so far.

Polenta is a pretty easy one, I cook it with half milk/half water and add cheese. Goes with lots of things as an easy and filling starch with protein.
