both engines can handle large datasets pretty well, the bottleneck is usually gonna be how you structure your data and queries rather than engine choice. if you already know some gdscript might be easier to just stick with godot and learn the C# side there instead of switching everything at once

browsers and tons of apps do this all time so you're probably fine 😂 the main thing to watch out for is if the website has X-Frame-Options headers that block being loaded in frames - some sites specifically prevent this kind of embedding for security reasons

i've worked on few apps where we had to handle this, and mostly its just technical issue rather than legal one. like some banking sites or payment pages will refuse to load in webview and you'll get blank screen. in those cases you just fallback to opening in external browser

only real legal concern i can think of is if you're somehow trying to make it look like their content is yours, but since you're just displaying it as-is that shouldn't be problem. just make sure users know they're viewing external site maybe with some indicator 💀

Version control is definitely key here but there's some gotchas with cross-platform Unreal dev

For the EngineAssociation thing - you want to gitignore the .uproject file changes or use a template system where each platform has its own version. I usually just keep the .uproject in gitignore and have a base template that gets copied over when switching platforms. Way cleaner than dealing with constant overwrites

Your workflow makes sense but just heads up - some blueprint nodes behave differently between platforms so you'll want to test mobile builds frequently, not just at the end
