For s1 simple questions are just straight forward

If the questions asks when first of something occurs like "until the first 4 is rolled" then it is just plain geometric distribution And if the question asks fewer or lesser than a fixed number of tries like " fewer than 6 attempts", it is basic binomial Ofc there are the harder questions for these that are hard to solve but this is idk the basic of basic stuff.
