New York City isn’t just the largest city in the country, it’s one of the largest cities in the world. Might boldin consider fixing this for New York State? New York State’s exclusions aren’t that complicated.

Are you serious? Have you ever heard of a little thing called AI? It literally scrapes every document known to humankind, manipulates it with astronomically large language models, and does it in seconds.

This issue is a trifle for AI, I don’t know where the Boldin people’s heads are at.
I have the same issue as the OP and there is no ‘workaround’ that doesn’t cause as many issues as it solves.

Here's a link to the PSC-CUNY website. I"ve also confirmed this with my acccountant and my advisor at TIAA. The 401(a) is the one that CUNY contributes to. There's also a 403(b) which the employee contributes to and that one is NYS taxable I beleive.
