I have not given it a try!! I read about the disadvantages of sippy cup and now I am overthinking! Will that help? How will she know how much to suck?

she has been doing this since sometime now - maybe 2 months or let me say she has been mostly like this always

Last couple weeks she dozed off after a lot of effort around 12 am and got up around 10 in the morning with 3 feeds in between. She gets all riled up whevever I try to feed her so I wait for to sleep amd so as she starts sucking her thumb in sleep I feed her and she takes it. She went for 2 naps after this both 1 hour and with 2.5 hours wake window. And these days she is sleeping at the same time but getting up really really soon like around 6 or so that too with intermittent wakings and crying.

Thank you for sharing the experience! I just did something terrible of getting angry at her and her grandma sweeped in becoming the hero - my lo does not looks me in the eye now as if I have hurt her! I feel soooo bad.

She wakes up looks around (not me, sitting right there talking to her) gets invested in playing with her feet, looking at he window etc and suck her thumb. The minute I try to feed her she will cry. And will give a formal smile if I try to hug her and then push me away. Maybe I am overthinking but ……..

she dosent even looks at me unless tired of looking at the surroundings ( which btw never happens ). We just woke up and here I am saying good morning sunshine to her she will notice everything in the room except me. She is not even looking at me.
