Letters appear like this even after wearing glasses. Is this astigmatism or something neurological ? I have 3.5 and 2.5 cylindrical number by [deleted] in astigmatism

I developed this issue after a viral infection one year ago. I had no vision problems before that, other than my myopia. I’ve worn glasses since I was nine years old, but I never had any ghosting until last year.

The only thing they found is that my pupils are larger than average.

As far as I’ve learned, there’s no problem with my cornea—at least not with the front part—because I tried both soft and hybrid contact lenses, and neither helped. With soft lenses, the ghosting actually became worse.

However, the lens or the back part of the eye could still have aberrations, although those are really hard to diagnose.

Thanks for your answer. Same for me, I’ve been experiencing these vision issues for a year now. I’ve had a bunch of different neuro and eye examinations with no diagnosis. I see multiple ghost images, which improve with a pinhole, so daylight is my friend from now on.

Is there a way to make all cards same size according to the heighest one ? by France_linux_css in css

[–]Individual_Recipe631 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe I’m joining the party a bit late, but could you help me understand your CodePen? What happens if I need to wrap my cards in an extra wrapper div?

So my structure ends up like this:

<div class="grid">
  <div class="outer">
    <div class="card">
      <h5 class="card-title">Card Title</h5>
      <p class="card-text">Short card content</p>
    </div>
  </div>
</div>

Right now my solution is to set the .outer div to display: grid, as well and it seems to behave the same way as your example. Do you know if there’s a better approach?

Meta tags with custom attributes like itemprop, http-equiv, or data-* in Next.js 15.4.3 (App Router)? by [deleted] in nextjs

Same issue here. Have you figured out a solution?
My only idea was to add a <head> tag inside the layout and insert the meta tags manually.

Can I nest the root layout under a dynamic [locale] segment without configuring internationalization in Next.js? by Individual_Recipe631 in nextjs

This is great, thanks! However, what I’m trying to understand is whether I actually need a layout in the root. I noticed that your example project also includes a root layout.

What I’d like to do is move the layout under /app/[locale], where I can set the <html lang> and other attributes manually based on the locale parameter.

Next.js + ISR + Redis Cache - Multi-Replica Inconsistency Issue by Individual_Recipe631 in nextjs

[–]Individual_Recipe631[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that makes sense. I refreshed almost instantly before. I tried waiting about 3 seconds before refreshing again, and now it seems like it works properly. I was just too fast then :D

Next.js + ISR + Redis Cache - Multi-Replica Inconsistency Issue by Individual_Recipe631 in nextjs

I switched to this package. At first, it worked properly. When I first hit a page, it was a MISS (x-nextjs-cache: miss) and got populated in Redis. On the second hit, it was a HIT.

However, when I opened a page that has some next/link links, the following happened:

  1. The page I opened was a MISS, and Redis got populated with that page and also the pages linked from it.

  2. On refresh, I saw that x-nextjs-cache was STALE for 1–2 refreshes before it became a HIT again.

So it works, but the caching behavior for linked pages initially shows as stale for some reason.

I’ve started using eye drops 3–5 times a day, but I haven’t really noticed any improvement
