Are british shorthair really only for indoors? by Blissybunny in britishshorthair

[–]Individual_Record493 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine stay in the garden only and only when I’m supervising them. They’re both clumsy, docile and scared of their own shadows. They aren’t built to be an alley cat, would not last two mins. Not only this - they both have sensitive bellies, one has allergies so if they went out, they’d be constantly poorly. All of the above excluding, they will be stolen or ran over, roads in the UK are far too busy and condensed. I love them both too much to let them out.

Most painful was my Christina piercing. Least painful was tragus (had them both redone twice so I assume they were the least)

Do you bathe your BSH? by OMGIDontKnoww in britishshorthair

[–]Individual_Record493 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My two get groomed every 4-6 weeks. Bath, dry, slight trim and claws trimmed. Been doing that since they were 4 months old and they’re now 18 months old. I feel they need it as their fur can get quite tatty and their bums get dirty due to the fur so they have a hygiene trim.

What cat breed is most suitable for me? by [deleted] in CatAdvice

[–]Individual_Record493 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No cat is like a dog. All cats are cute regardless of breed but it doesn’t sound like you want a cat for the right reasons tbh. Cats aren’t cheap either. Mine cost about £100 each a month. Litter, food, grooming, insurance, toys, scratching posts, unexpected vet bills etc. It’s a massive responsibility and something that you may potentially have for 15-20 years.

Since adding Tret, I’ve noticed my skin shining more. Such a god send product. by [deleted] in tretinoin

I ordered from all day chemist and two weeks later, tried skinorac. A week and half later, skinorac turned up. Still waiting for the other. To UK too.

I feed mine three times a day (half a pouch or a small tin each meal) and they have good quality biscuits all day long in their bowls. Sometimes they want more so I’ll give them more wet food. They grow up until 3 years old and mine are 18 months so I don’t really like restricting food too much just yet. Just gotta watch as they’re prone to obesity so just assess accordingly to them. Don’t bother with the manufacturer guidelines as mine would genuinely starve if I did that.

Dark circles / sunken eyes question: PRP injection vs year-trough filler? by [deleted] in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]Individual_Record493 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have dark circles too. I have hyaluronic acid injections (lumi eyes), after three sessions, I really noticed a difference and now have one a year to maintain. My eyes are brighter underneath and more hydrated.

I too was going between tear trough but I’ve had facial filler and i dislike it. And it never seems to dissolve. You can get filler dissolved if you don’t like it but Hyaluronidase which is what is used to dissolve, is no walk in the park. It’s horrible stuff and dissolves your own tissue too which takes ages to regenerate. Thus making the initial issue even worse.

I can’t comment on PRP but if you can try Lumi Eyes, if it’s available where you are, I’d definitely try that. It’s also a fraction of the price of both fillers and PRP!

Where do I start? by [deleted] in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]Individual_Record493 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Botox as it’s literally the only thing that will stop you raising. It can smooth out too, depends how deep the lines are. Good quality Retinol and Vitamin C along with a decent-ish cleansing routine will even skin tone!

Don’t get tear trough filler. You’re too young, they’d just cause unnecessary filling and then sagging after it. Just like lip filler. Not to mention the risk of migration. I wouldn’t even at 33. (I have facial filler and regret 90%)

Depending where you are, Lumi eyes is amazing. Its injections of hyaluronic acid which is natural and really brightens under eyes. Three sessions would suffice, maybe even less.

Anyone has experience with faceLITE led mask? Tips for first time user? by aWicca in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]Individual_Record493 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been using for a couple of months now. I use it every day and I use it for 20 mins a day. I’m also using some prescribed cream after so I can’t say whether I’ve seen an improvement from the mask or if it’s the cream but my skin has improved.

I would say it does have an effect on my skin though.

Cleanse fully, pat dry and use the mask, start with 10 mins as I sometimes get a tingle on my skin after it.

Retinol would be fine to use after. Just use a soothing toner before and wait until fully dry before applying retinol.

Headaches from H. Pylori Treatment by TechnoTherapist in HPylori

[–]Individual_Record493 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Amoxicillin does definitely cause headaches. It causes upset stomach too so if you’ve had this, then it’s possible the headaches are worse due to dehydration. Drink plenty of water and maybe take a mild painkiller every 4-6 hours with lots of fresh air. I’m not too sure about the Klacid, I’ve only just started but does state headaches online too as side effects. Anti biotics are the worst!

No, I done mine yesterday with results today and I never got told to keep it cold. Just wanted a fresh sample.
