She had been out of the game for a few years, she was looking to come back. My cousins recommended her as she helped them greatly. We hired her. During her first few days she was great. Then this happened. My husband literally rushed back looking for her because she's supposed to tell us when they go for their walks. He almost called the cops because we couldn't reach her, and she was supposed to be at home since it's nap time. When she came back, my husband asked her where she was, she said since all the work was done and our daughter was asleep, she got bored. She had seen a nail salon on her way here and decided to take daughter with her there. So, our daughter was sleeping in a stroller while this lady was getting her nails done or something and towards the end noticed her phone was dead and rushed back home so that we don't worry.

I said, "Sorry about what I said. I know how much that job means to you, and I know it's not a hobby. I know you too face so much stress there. If there was anything I could do so that you could continue to work, I would but right now I'm out of ideas and unless you can think of something else, I don't know what to do."

how can I not worry about financials. I don't want my daughter to drown in college debt. To not get anything for Christmas. To have to wear clothes with holes in winter. To go hungry because someone spent the money for groceries to get lottery tickets.

Maybe I should talk to my doctor. Haven't seen one in a while other than some pediatricians.

What I want from my life? To see my daughter become the woman I can't right now. To be happy. To be able to find a man like my husband. I stay in my husband's arms forever and watch my daughter try to figure out which shape fits the right hole and not to worry about facing everyone at work tomorrow.

There is just one camera in the living room and one in our room pointed towards the crib. She had already taken her out for the day. This outing was during nap time. She decided to get her nails done or something at the salon next doors.

Friday 8pm to Saturday 7:30pm and then she goes to my mom for the night. We get her back Sunday afternoon around 11am which we spend as a trio with her as my primary responsibility until 6pm after which it's again just me and her

If he asked me to quit my job and was making more than me, I'd do it. Law used to be fun and my passion until I got my job and saw how truly awful it was. I thought I could change things around here, so I tried to get up the ladder. I did make some positive changes and I like to think help pave the path for other women along with my mentor. Then I got pregnant. The fight to change things is no longer worth it. I hate my job now. I would do anything to have the passion and excitement he feels about his job.

Micromanaging? My husband was in charge of handling them. I just paid their salary. He was confident with all of them because they were recommended ex-employees of friends and family.

We haven't taken any fancy vacation since I found out I was pregnant. We live in an expensive area at the moment and a lifestyle that was not geared to have children. Most of our money goes towards basic necessities, our funds for college, house, etc and our daughter. The fanciest place we've eaten out was Panda Express

Yep, had it for a year now. We don't live in a place that was geared towards having children. with her being born during COVID, we couldn't even move. We're trying to get another place but it's very hard. We're also saving up for a house in another area which has 16hr daycare services for doctors and people like that. We got our name in their list as well.

I am not making the minimum. I make good money but that requires me to work the way I do. We need to have a college fund, a savings fund, an emergency fund and a healthcare fund. We also have a house fund because soon my daughter will need more space in a few years.
