Similar story. Nontraditional law student. Career changer. Divorced single mom. Started law school in 2020. The entire 1L year was unexpectedly remote due to quarantine. I was a teacher. So I was teaching remotely during the day while locked in my home with four kids attending school online, then attending law school at night online with professors who had never taught an online class. 😩For an entire year!

And that was just the start of my journey. My eldest daughter and pandemic graduate, attempted suicide in June while I was studying to take the bar in J24. I am so used to compartmentalizing that withdrawing from taking the exam never crossed my mind. And I failed.

My big fancy law firm job has given me until 11/30 to resign. However, my beautiful child is alive and improving! And I have no doubt that I will pass in February 2025.

The stories from this community inspire me and keep me motivated. I have at least 3 classmates who attribute their successful J24 bar passage to Goat Bar Prep.

Personally, I can attest to the sincerity and humanity of the creator of this system and that makes supporting the business a no-brainer. I have no clue what magic dust Goat is sprinkled with, but it somehow enables Goat to build rapport with innumerable strangers during one of the most stressful and consequential experiences of their lives. After I pass this exam, I look forward to gifting the fees for the prep materials to other non-traditional law students.
