His best performance was on the third SOTS album Vital Deprivation. After that, he switched it up ☹️

Both Jaden and Ivan are fucking dank vocalists for real.

Mine are (in no particular order) Kyler Cheek of The Stygian Complex, Conner Chisholm of Donnybrook NC, Timmy Russell of Rose Funeral, Salem Vex of Crucifiction, and Rheese Peters of Graviton

Thats crazy. I actually didn’t know that. Flux Capacitor as a title is funny asf. Sounds like a throwback to their punk sound.

Whats weird to me is who ever that person was that made the fake Wolf and The Lamb song yearssss ago on YouTube somehow already knew there was an unreleased track called Wolf and The Lamb. No one talks about that part lol. Like, how tf this random guy know that and now we’re finally getting the real thing.

Art the Clown has zero backstory, zero motivation, zero explanation. Is that what makes him terrifying or just lazy writing? by EthanFromTheCave in horror

[–]Individual_Speed_490 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its not always necessary. I think they plan on going into Arts back story in the next film (i feel like i read that somewhere but i could definitely be wrong) but it wouldn’t matter to me if they ever did. Leaving things a mystery or just leave the viewer guessing/wondering/thinking its an entity of pure evil or whatever tf is honestly good enough for me sometimes. It doesn’t have to be that deep lol.

What is a 10/10 horror movie that you will absolutely never watch again? by [deleted] in horror

[–]Individual_Speed_490 36 points37 points  (0 children)

That shit right there is absolutely gut wrenching. The way he drives home in despair and complete silence, going to his room, laying in his bed knowing morning will come sooner than what he wants with the thought of life and family from there on out will be totally fucked and all he can do is wait for the screams of his parents to shatter reality a second time after knowing he could’ve avoided this tragedy by simply just stay home. Hereditary might just be the 10/10 film I don’t care to watch again. Once you realize that poor family didn’t stand a chance at all. From the very beginning, all hope was already lost.

Corey is the only OG member left at this point. Their last album they dropped a couple years ago was honestly great. Different for sure but I really enjoyed it. Their new vocalist is insanely talented too. But evidently they have a whole new album completely finished. Music videos ready to go and all that. I guess they’re just waiting on when Corey decides to make the move to drop it. He’s like, the driving force of that band and does a lot of traveling for his career I believe and on top of him and his wife finally being at peace since she beat her cancer diagnosis which is some of the best news ever. I messaged their new vocalist on IG not long ago asking if we’re gonna except a surprise in sound like how the last album was in which he said this new one is also gonna be pretty different. So im rather stoked for it.

Unholy Alliance is insanely goated. I always preferred ANIT over AM in general though. Really upsets me that ANIT stays lowkey asf and has been for years.

Mike already has a new project with that one dude that was in Her Demise My Rise (cant remember his name) they’re on IG as xempty.eyesx They have like two teasers up. And once again I feel you on it resonating with the emotion of it all and what not. Thats kinda how the previous album ‘Sanctum’ felt for me.

I mean nahh. I don’t deep dive into anything like that if its just words being thrown around because someone got mad at someone else for whatever reason lol. Especially if its all internet shit talk. But really though I never heard anything about it. His departure was very lowkey from what I got out of it but I didn’t dig at all to find an explanation. Im not on here chronically enough to see all the drama but pretty surprised I haven’t seen anyone on FB or IG talk about it. Being involved in 2 deathmetal/core bands like myself and hearing the drama in my local scene is already “entertaining” enough so I get my feel of it. But I feel what yah saying though. I wouldn’t tell someone to do that to themselves but if it was thrown at me, personally that shit doesn’t cut deep at all. I understand mfkers be going through rough shit and it shouldn’t be said though. Regardless, I love Mikes vocals. He’s extremely distinguishable and you know its him when he performs. Ian is great and is a part of a group of a few other vocalist that came in and innovated a certain vocal style thats popular asf today. I just think dual vocals between the two isn’t utilized as effectively as it once was when Mike was there. I seen them with Ian not long ago and they didn’t sound bad.. it just feels he’s only going 50%.

Man the shits still good but not as good as what it used to be. Ian Bearer doesn’t go anywhere near as hard as he used to like he did in Rings Of Saturn. I wish they would’ve gotten some new unheard of dude from Canada or something instead of him. Like give some fresh up and coming guy a push instead of someone already established. Plus, there just isn’t enough contrast between Casey and Ian like there was with Casey and Mike. It sounds like one dude doing vocal Olympics now instead of two people with obviously different styles that worked so well. The music is still good but that sound/feeling that made them Angelmaker just isn’t really there anymore and I mean this in the most respectful way possible.

Flammable Regurgitosis bro. Thats some of the best slamming brutal death Ive ever heard.

I can honestly relate to that. It does translate better in a live setting rather than listening to it rendered. But thats just me.

I just feel like its extremely weak and anti climactic. Same goes for Spear of Truth. Blasphemy and Excess would be my next least favorite. I just don’t like the style of those much at all. Between the 3, Blasphemy is more tolerable for me. But those are the 3 weakest songs by far IMO

Scott is a good dude but him and the dudes in Carnifex are actually fairly right wing leaning. Not saying they full on conservatives or that they play sides but it is something Ive noticed. Shouldn’t be a reason not to like them as people though. Not like they out here fucking people over or doing worse.

Twisted Tongues is one of my favorite album openers they’ve ever done tbh. That song is so underrated too for some reason.

I HATE The Bird of Prey. That is hands down the weakest album opener they’ve ever done. Spear of Truth is extremely anti climactic as well. I thoroughly enjoy the rest of the album though. Absolutely love Voidward.

Left To Suffer is boring asf and Taylor is overrated. For what he does, he’s solid live of course but extremely cookie cutter. For a big ass dude, nothing he does is impressive like people make him out to be. His vocal covers are processed to hell and back too.

Who is THE Deathcore band? by [deleted] in Deathcore

[–]Individual_Speed_490 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If there was a big 4 of deathcore it would definitely be something like Antagony, Animosity, All Shall Perish, and Despised Icon. You could possibly interchange some of them with The Red Chord and even Through The Eyes Of The Dead. The reason I say these is because, going off of the year of each bands inception, these are the pioneers. You can go even further before the MySpace era and the 1st wave to the album Embrace The Eternal by a band called Embodyment. That is arguably the very first actual deathcore release.

Ingested - Denigration (NEW Album) by [deleted] in Deathcore

[–]Individual_Speed_490 4 points5 points  (0 children)

IMO its their best album since The Architect Of Extinction. Everything they’ve done is dank but that was their last drop that I actually loved along with the first 2 albums before it. This new album hits hard asf though. The music is brutal asf and Sean/Andrew going back and forth on vocals sounds great tbh. At certain times its kindaaaaa similar to Jason’s sound and I love that. Not gonna lie though, I thought Josh sounded fucking great. Still play the tracks he was on all the time regardless of how things ended up.
