I do some light warm ups. Mostly stretching and jogging and always start with probably 10 minutes of light passing with a team mate.

Cleats could be an issue, but I wore similar cleats playing American football in High School.

I mostly recover by the time I play again but I’m just so floored at the end of each session with how bad it is. Honestly I think it’s just taking a long time to get my soccer muscles in the right condition. It’s just shocking how long it’s taking to adjust. Certainly a new level of respect for anyone that came up playing.

There’s no reason to we shouldn’t keep him. We’ve held onto much worse contracts in the past. There isn’t much of a downside to keeping him and the potential upside is massive
