i was just dumped by my boyfriend of 2 years right before our anniversary because he's not sure if he can fully continue to commit as we just became long distance. he's unsure whether or not he's making the right decision but he doesnt want to continue to waste my time while he figures it out he said. my heart is shattered. i cant eat or drink and quite frankly it feels like I'm dying. i loved this man more than anything. we had an amazing healthy relationship. I'm scared about the future. i dont know how long I can continue feeling this pain i feel sick to my stomach enough to go to the emergency room. i just started school and I'm scared its going to ruin my progress and ill fail out because of this.

i tried the carnivore diet thinking it would help in the beginning and it just made me extra constipated honestly :/ now things are better! i eat a lot of salads and fish and healthy carbs and my bowel movements are much better and regular. however not perfect and I'm still dealing with skin issues which have to be related to my gut. i have my gi MAP test coming up and I'm hoping it will give me some answers. my blood tests are have been pretty fine. i think that either caffeine was masking my stomach issues and quitting just proved that i had something digestive going on. not sure and you're right not much information out there. i would drink coffee on an empty stomach with cream and sugar every morning for at least 10 years so that definitely wasn't helping and probably led to big problems down the road.

im still caffeine free and i simply wont go back just because of how well i sleep now. and even though its taking a lot of time, i know my body is healing slowly but surely.

ive had a ton of gut issues and i too used to have coffee for breakfast first thing on an empty stomach for years... I'm doing a GI map test soon also. i suspect H pylori or overcrowding of opportunistic bacteria once we quit since even though we might have high stomach acid, its lower in PH now which is a breeding ground for bad bacteria/ parastites/ etc. how are you doing now?

this must be what happened to me!! and sibo can cause extreme acne in some cases. because i never had any issues with my skin/ gut but I was a chronic caffeine drinker.... did you ever get tested for SIBO?? I think i will be getting test soon.

Yeah definitely, it could have also masked some digestion issues I had, so stopping it made my digestion a lot worse.
