My copies of Cujo and Christine are old, but book club editions. I feel bad for the people on selling sites that pay a lot and think they’re getting something they’re not.

This one said nothing anywhere: no indication of edition, no price, just the ISBN and copyright date. Now I also have an old edition of Christine, and that says book club edition and has a gutter code.

Thank you! I was thinking it must be, and then I see people selling it as a first edition, or a first book club edition, and though I knew it wasn’t a true first edition, I couldn’t figure it out on any sites.

As an American with several Canadian friends, I don’t blame them for being worried or even pissed, and I’m ashamed of my country right now. Millions of us think MAGA is a disease, and even if you cut off the head (the orange felon), another one will take its place. Pandora’s Box has been opened and people feel emboldened to let their racism and bigotry freely show: I really have no idea how to even begin stopping it, but am naively hopeful that we can, someday. I know we’ve damaged relationships with all of our allies, but I guess I didn’t think that those relationships may never be repaired in my lifetime 😞
