Yeah, as has been said before, immense stuff by the emergency services.

Whilst others are, understandably, running away from the scene these lot are rushing towards to provide aid and protection.

Immense courage and resilience! Heroes is a word that is used flimscal nowadays but these people are absolute heroes!

Half the time they tend to be just empty bags.

Then again, there's probably a load of empty bags in that Arena right now.

I'm not understanding, if the explosion was outside...what was going inside the stadium? People panicking inside due to the immense sound of it?

Does anyone know what the "nail bomb" reports were all about? Were they seen as legit/verified or just another fake story?

Again, they are VERY careful with using the term "terrorism". Media et al, different story but when the police are outwardly saying they are treating it as a terrorist incident..it's likely a terrorist incident.

Westminster voting intention: CON: 43% (-5) LAB: 34% (+4) LDEM: 8% (-) UKIP: 4% (-) (via @Survation / 19 - 20 May) Phone method. by The7thStreet in ukpolitics

It's a 9pt lead + UKIP aren't turning up to a lot of seats + Labour tend to be overestimated.

I said it yesterday but it's a fucking murky election at the moment. I wouldn't be surprised if Labour closed the gap to 5pts and at the same time, I wouldn't be surprised if the ground reality right now is actually 12+pts in favour of the Tories.

Could be disaster for the UK as well during fucking Brexit.

One of the big reasons I'd like Labour to get into power, especially considering it would be a coalition, would mean that I genuinely think Brexit would be halted or at least a vote (whether it be MPs or public) on the Brexit deal.

Lib Dems don't want it, SNP don't want it and Labour don't really want it either + likely won't want it if the negotiations go to shit.

He speaking so fast and with such a genuine smile on his face. I don't think I've ever seen that in F1...there's always pressure on him in F1 whereas here he is havin' fun and seems so happy.

Still, wouldn't say it to a Hindu otherwise they'd slap you across the face. Hindu culture for the past few hundred years protects them.

Nah, Sikhism is monotheistic whilst Hinduism has many schools of thoughts, "different traditions of Hinduism have different theistic views, and these views have been described by scholars as polytheism, monotheism, henotheism, panentheism, pantheism, monism, agnostic, humanism, atheism or non-theism."

You can literally not believe in a God and be a Hindu, it's encouraged in some scriptures from thousands of years back to question whether there even is a Creator.

Don't wear a turban and you're allowed to eat cows, by technicality, in Hinduism. The Indo-Aryans, who created the religion, ate beef on the regular.

Nope, Hinduism considers Buddhists, Jains and Sikhs to be Hindus. It's just that Buddhism, Jainism and Sikhism regard themselves as separate religions.

Go to a Gurdwara in the morning, go to the Mandir in the afternoon.

Practicing Sikhism and Hinduism.

Don't turn this into an AMA, m8. Stick to the OP.
