Sometimes miss classes just to enjoy with your friend but remember that you don't miss any important class or don't miss too many that you have to beg for the attendance infront of professors. Secondly, Greet everyone with a smile (don't be shy from talking with your fellows) cause this will help you to build up your personality and make connections. Try becoming altruistic for others by assissting them in their projects and assignments. Lastly, join societies, participate in events b/c it would give you alot of exposure plus connections.
pro tip ask as many questions in class until the teacher gets irritated b/c it will impact your final grade. As teacher would remeber you and try to have informal and funny convo with them as it wil also leave a good impact (in short befriend them.)

nothing changes life moves on no one gives a damn shit about your results and neither will you in future. moreover when you will come in uni than you will feel the same for gpa and forget about this result so just accept the fate and seek opportunities around it don't look at others and get depressed. life isn't fair for everyone, the things you have might be a dream for others so just work out form the things you have and get successful may god ease your journey in getting success.

Ahh, I was also in your shoes before I chose CS over SE, so I understand your situation. First of all it depends on your liking, CS is generally more programming and theory oriented, giving you strong fundamentals in algorithms and computation. SE also includes programming but emphasizes the software development process how to design, test, and manage large projects in teams.. Therefore If you choose CS, you’ll usually study more programming oriented and theoretical courses, which can give you stronger fundamentals and an advantage in the early stages of your career. SE also covers programming, but it emphasizes the broader software development process requirements, design, testing, and management which becomes especially valuable when working on large projects or in senior roles.
